About the book
This edited book (series) will be provided to the undergraduate & post-graduate levels and Research Scholars as given to them the hope of receiving the correct and simple understanding of the basic overview of the environment and sustainable development.
To a large extent, our knowledge of the environment and sustainable development has greatly improved from the rigorous work which scientists from these fields have done. The proposed book series is intended to present new horizons in the form of a conceptual approach to the environment; this concept being a general view of the environment on the path of sustainable development as practical solutions to environmental problems.
The achievement of human development objectives while preserving the ability of natural systems to continue supplying the natural resources and ecosystem services on which the economy and society rely is known as sustainable development. The concept of ‘needs’, especially the basic needs of the poor of the world, to which primary attention should be devoted, and the idea of restraints imposed upon the environment due to the state of the technology and social organization from the environmental capacity to satisfy the present and future needs are both included within it. Notably, it is crucial to mention the idea of ‘needs’ especially the basic needs of the poor in the world where the overwhelming priority should be given.
The chapters discuss the issues that are related to sustainable development and human relation between the natural environment. Based on the recent work and the latest information that is available from different sources, there has been a short and comprehensive summary which has been done as a result. The authors would herein like to thank their colleagues from various institutions and universities all over the world. These people have immensely helped them by giving them invaluable advice while they were compiling this undertaking.
